Hi, I’m Cassandra Cureton.
I'm a yoga teacher, lifelong learner, creative spirit, and founder of BLISS Philosophy.
Long before I discovered yoga, I fell in love with movement through dance. That passion eventually led me through many seasons of life—motherhood, corporate leadership, entrepreneurship, and, ultimately, back to the healing power of movement.
When chronic pain began affecting my body, yoga became a pathway to healing. As my practice grew, so did my desire to understand why it was transforming not only my body, but my perspective on life. I completed my yoga teacher training in 2021 and have been sharing the practice ever since.
Today, I teach yoga in studios, healthcare settings, community organizations, and wellness programs throughout the Charlotte area because I believe yoga is for every body. Whether standing on a mat or practicing with the support of a chair, everyone deserves the opportunity to experience movement that restores strength, confidence, and peace.
But BLISS Philosophy is about more than yoga.
It is the home for everything that allows me to live creatively and authentically. I created BLISS because I stopped believing I had to choose between my gifts. Instead, I chose to weave them together.
The name BLISS is an acronym for five guiding principles:
Believe. Love. Inspire. Shine. Share.
They are more than words—they are a daily practice.
I believe each of us already carries within us the wisdom, creativity, and strength to build a meaningful life. Sometimes we simply need a little support, a welcoming community, and the courage to take the next step.
If our paths cross in a class, on a retreat, or through one of my creative projects, I hope you leave feeling lighter, stronger, and reminded of the power that has always been within you.
Welcome to BLISS Philosophy.
